FAQ

1. Which car-dolly set do I need for my
car? Our biggest seller is model #1016
with upgrade casters. Many people have been burned
trying to save a few dollars buying our competitor's
heavy steel car-dolly sets with steel or plastic wheels,
only to find that when they put them under their car,
they won't roll! Now, they just want a car-dolly set
that they know will work. With our upgrade casters, you
can push your car, even a heavy car, with ease by
yourself! Buy the best, you won't be disappointed. (see
our testimonial page) |

2. How much harder is it to push my car
with model #1016 with just the standard casters vs. the
upgrade casters?
Of course, our standard casters with
wheel bushings require more effort to push your car when
compared to our upgrade casters with roller wheel
bearings. However, when you compare our standard
casters to our competitor's models which have imported
casters with plastic or steel wheels, our standard
casters only required 1/2 the effort in comparison. (see
our graph page) Generally
speaking, if your vehicle weighs more than 3500 pounds,
we recommend you go with the upgrade casters. |

3. I have wider tires on the rear of my
car, do I need Model #2020? If the tread width of your rear
tires exceeds 14", you should consider model #2020 |

4. Why do you use aluminum plates when
everyone else uses painted steel plates? Frankly, we invested more money in
dies to make this car-dolly set than our competitors. We
have 2 dies for extruding the billet aluminum and 2 dies
forming the final shape of the plates. Using aluminum
saves tremendously on shipping costs, avoids rust
problems, and looks great. We think that our aluminum
car-dolly sets give you more bang for the buck! |
